Try again

Try again

‘Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.” Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.” Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, ‘Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!’ 1 Kings 18:43-44 NLT

Why quit because you tried once and it didn’t work out?

As long as you are sure that God is with you on it, try again!

Yes, refill and try again.

If God has given you a word guaranteeing success, he will surely fulfil his word. Do not let setbacks deter you or blow a mist on your God-given vision.

In the text above, Elijah had to send his servant seven times to go and locate the sign of the rain. Six times yielded no sign. At the seventh time, the sign came through!

This shows that there could be days when your expected outcomes might not surface. Such events are not pointers to failure! Rather, they should be signs that you have to hold on tighter to the vision and not lose it!

By faith, you must see your expectations coming to fruition! Live by faith, and not by sight(2 Corinthians 5:7).

Elijah consistently believed in his God-given vision and he held on in faith even when the outcomes proved otherwise. You should do the same! Don’t quit! Victory is yours with Jesus!

If you hold on in faith and refuse to look back, one thing is sure- success!
Have the winning mentality, that with Christ, you are not just about to win, you have already won!

That’s true!

The rain came eventually came for Elijah and God was glorified. Your gains will eventually come too, as you reject disbelief and hold on in faith.

Stay motivated and don’t lose the vision.

With God, you are successful.

So, try again!
