Whose voice is it?

Whose voice is it

‘And the LORD came and called as before, ”Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied, ”Speak, your servant is listening.”

1 Samuel 3:10 (NLT)

The first time the Lord spoke to Samuel, he didn’t recognize God’s voice because he had never heard it before. As time went on, he knew God’s voice and his life and ministry flourished on the divine instructions the LORD spoke to him!

Every human must recognize and endeavour to harken to the voice of the LORD!

Do you know the LORD, do you know his voice?

In John 10:27-28, Jesus said that his sheep listen to his voice, he knows them and they know him. When he speaks, they know he is the speaker. They cannot be fooled.

Recognizing the voice of the LORD is a component of one’s relationship with him.

If you are one of those longing to recognize God’s voice, you need to do the following:

  • Spend more time worshiping him in songs and prayers
  • Spend more time reading his words
  • Spend more time praying
  • Spend more time telling others about Jesus Christ
  • Spend more time conversing with your spiritual leaders- ask them questions relating to your walk with God.

God is, and he speaks. Be calm before him, as you endeavour to listen to him. Do not rush out of his presence.

Communication should be two-way. You talk to God, expect and wait for his response.

I pray that may your life experience the divine abundance that the Lord’s presence brings as he speaks to you, even as your relationship with him gets deeper in Jesus name.

Stay connected to God.

Rest in blessings!
