“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3(KJV Go Bible)
A respected clergyman in Nigeria said this, ‘when prayers fail, try praise’. Another amiable man of God also said ‘You can pray amiss, but you can’t praise amiss.’ These two statements establishes the potency and lofty heirachy of praise in the life of a christian.
God won’t be present where he does not want to be. To invite the presence of the father sometimes, you need to praise him exceedingly!God doesn’t just inhabit anybody’s praise,he inhabits the praises of the righteous(Those who live by faith). He appreciates those who praise him in spirit and truth; those who pour out their hearts to him in gratitude even when things are seemingly not ok. As they praise him, he blesses them even more.
In reference to a teaching by the General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye:If you desire an overflow of blessings, you have to bring to the father a sacrifice of overflowing praise.
If you are ready to do that, begin to thank him for all he has done, even right now.
